Fear not  by Bill Keller

As I was in prayer this morning about what God would have me say to you today, He brought this powerful verse from the book of Isaiah into my mind and told me that man y of you today needed to be encouraged and reassured that God had not left you.The Bible promises us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Let me say it this way, God has NEVER left you, although you may have left Him. How can you fear anything…any person, any situation, any circumstance, when God is there with you? But the promise of this verse just doesn’t end with His presence. To me, the power in the verse is His promise to help us.Every morning, when I look into the mirror in my bathroom, the first thing I see is a Bible verse from John that simply says, “Without me you can do nothing.” I never want to start the day trusting in my own strength or wisdom, but trying to rely on what God provides It is such a comfort to know that God is with me and that He is helping me.
That is why I have such confidence, even in the face of what appears to be overwhelming odds. God is with me, He is helping me, and the Bible says that if He is with me, who can be against me! That promise also applies to you!!!!

Psalms 115:18

But as for us, we will bless the Lord

from this time forth and forever

Praise the Lord.

Ponder These Quotes this coming week

“If God were not only to hear our prayers, as he does ever and always, but to answer them as we want them answered, he would not be God our Saviour but the ministering genius of our destruction.”    by George MacDonald

“While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. He has taken the cleanup entirely into his own hands. He has just gone and done it without waiting for us; and he invites us simply to trust that he has it all accomplished for us in Jesus—and to proclaim that trust by acting as if we really believed it.”

by Robert Capon, “The Foolishness of Preaching”

From Here to Eternity

The book of The Revelation is quite literally, “The revelation of Jesus as the Messiah – the Conquering King and Almighty Judge.” These are the instructions that were revealed to John to deliver to Christ’s committed servants concerning the things that must come to pass in the last days before the Kingdom is finally restored.

Just as the first four Gospels detailed how Jesus fulfilled the Spring Feasts of the LORD when he came the first time in his roles as The Prophet, and the Lamb of God – the book of the Revelation is the 5th Gospel – Good News of the Messiah fulfilling the prophetic shadow pictures embedded in the Fall Feasts of the LORD as he returns to rule the Earth.

In Matt. 24:3-5 Jesus was asked by his disciples, “Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.”

Then he began answering their question and he didn’t scold them for asking.  He gave them details of the events that would effect their lives and the lives of even his end time followers right up until his return.

God has not hidden his plan of salvation or the events that will lead up to his soon return to this earth to rule all nations.  Thy Kingdom Come!  Lord Jesus
